We've been up to more Halloween crafting and decorating around here!
It's just too much fun with a toddler who ooh's and aww's over it all.
I pulled out my BOO frames that I made last year to dress up the mantel
but I thought it would be fun to add a few more touches this year.
The last trip we made to the dollar store I picked up two of these
black candle holders and four of the glass holders.
I super glued the glass candle holders together top to top.
Glued the black candle holder to the top and put something nice
and heavy on top to weigh them down overnight.
The next day I was able to spray them with a quick coat
of satin black spray paint and dressed them with the glittery
black skulls {that we also found at the dollar store.}
Super easy!

Then we just started pulling out more decorations and placed them everywhere.
The skeleton straws I found at the dollar store in a 6 pack.
The legs and arms move all around and Aidyn is definitely amused by them.
The pillows I found at the Christmas Tree Shops for $.25 each last November!
I stocked up on a ton of decorations since it was so ridiculously cheap.
I also found this count down there for $.75 and now
we're finally able to use it!
Halloween really is just too much fun to decorate for!
It's already getting me excited to start decorating for Christmas.
What? Too soon?!

You did a great job! I love your candlestick trick - that's a really good one. I'm going to try to feature it on Dollar Store Crafts soon. I love how you decorated your mantle - I have one that looks a lot like that (minus decorations - ha ha!). I need to dress it up a bit!

NEVER too soon! I can't wait to get into our new place in another week so I can finally get our my decor. Just in time to take it down :)
