I get asked a lot how I post my pictures in different shapes.
Most commonly-- circles.
Here's how I do it with Photoshop:
{And please remember, I am not saying this is the only way or even the correct way.
I play around with what works for me.}

Here's my starting picture.
Once you have the picture you want to work with open in Photoshop,
click on your Elliptical Marquee.
Circle around the part of the image you want to keep.
When you're happy with what you've circled click on the Select menu.
Click on Inverse.
Click your Delete key.
You'll be left with all that white extra space.
I have a white background on my blog so I leave it the way it is
but I do crop off some of that extra image I no longer need.
Save your image and it's ready to be uploaded to your blog.

Easy. Right?

Hello! I found you via Friendly Friday! I'll be following you here and on your design site, great blog! :O)
If you want to NOT have the white part showing, save it as a transparent PNG and the white will be invisible. Then you can use it on top of any color background. :O)
